Birchwood Elementary

  • Client: Bellingham School District
  • Location: Bellingham, WA
  • Completed: December 2014
  • Architect: Dykeman, Inc.

The building design of Birchwood Elementary catered to the preservation of its architecture and history, and valued the appearance of a newer, more modern version of the original school. The main entry way of the original school now makes a grand entrance to the school library. An arborist was brought onsite to protect and monitor the surrounding vegetation.
